Good late inning rally...until Gonzalez DESTROYED Ryan Howard with a 3-2 FASTBALL.

A great start to a title defense, this effort was not. Just watched Charlie blaming the loss on all the pregame celebrations...I don't buy it.

It is only one game...and it is Phillies tradition to lay stinky turds on the opening day game...but after months of anticipation...this was a king size turd supreme.

Gonna take a day tomorrow to wash the taste out of my mouth...gotta count on Old Faithful to turn us around on Tuesday.
